San Ysidro Purgatory

In this award nominated episode of Daily VICE I visited the dusty strip of land of San Ysidro, California known to be the busiest border crossing in the world.

In this very unique geographical area, social worker Veronica Medina takes care of immigrant families who are forced to live in motels because of the high cost of rent.

Nominated as Best Short Non Fiction Program at Imagen Awards 2018.
